Bite Size Vegan's Sustainable!
At this level of monthly funding, Bite Size Vegan will be sustainable! This would mean that I could keep up the work of vegan education long-term and start to expand the reach of BSV's message through other avenues. When this goal is reached, I will not only be dusting off my happy-dancin' shoes but also may have to collect myself for a moment, because my life's dream will have come true: the ability to focus full-time, long-term on my animal activism and advocacy through BSV. And to show my gratitude, I'd not only host another Google+ Hangout celebration for existing patrons, but I'll also be sending each one of you a hand-written thank you note through the good ol' snail mail (but not using actual snails, cause that ain't vegan!) [*tech note: after fees to Patreon and declined pledges, I typically get about 70-75% of what is listed on the page, so I've taken that into consideration with my goal numbers] :)
Bite Size Vegan's On the Road!
At this level of monthly funding (man that's a lot of money!), Bite Size Vegan could go on the road! One of my long-term goals is to travel around and speak about veganism much like my friend and mentor Gary Yourofsky. Of course all that travel takes money! If this goal is reached, I would be able to take this show on the road and reach out to non-vegans in person, bringing Bite Size Vegan education directly to those who need it most. And seriously, if we ever reach this level of funding, I'm taking you all out to dinner! I don't know how or where...but it's on. [*tech note: after fees to Patreon and declined pledges, I typically get about 70-75% of what is listed on the page, so I've taken that into consideration with my goal numbers] :)

There is a LOT of information and misinformation on veganism out there! Bite Size Vegan makes it simple, fun and approachable, with each info-packed, sarcasm-rich vegan nugget video clocking in around 5 minutes (more or less).

Vital Vegan Education- Lives Changed, Lives Saved
Welcome to the Patreon page of Bite Size Vegan, an ever-expanding video-based free educational resource for vegan information and activism.
When I started Bite Size Vegan I didn't know if anyone was going to see my videos, but I wanted to at least try to make some difference for the animals. Since the day I sat on my floor in front of my computer and recorded that first video, Bite Size Vegan has grown so much! I've tackled hard-hitting topics like whether eating animals is a choice, the "free-range" and "humane" myth, animal testing, the ethics of horse riding, wool, honey, the criminalization of activism and more- and I don't pull my punches!
I have a file on my computer filled with messages from people who've gone vegan because of the BSV videos and existing vegans who have, through the videos, found the confidence to speak up about veganism and take action for the animals. (you can read some of them here) I cannot put into words how much these messages mean to me and I want to continue this work- reach more people, save more animals, and change more lives. But I need your help.
Why Bite Size Vegan Needs Your Support
Bite Size Vegan is a minority among vegan YouTube channels as I focus primarily on the ethical aspects of veganism and speaking to non-vegans. Because this message is so important and also so easily and quickly rejected, it's vital that I present well-researched and documented information, which of course takes ample time and effort to produce.
A 5 minute video can take anywhere from 9 to 25 hours or more to create! With the more "hardcore" educational videos always topping out at the 25hr+ mark. The time commitment necessary for me to produce these quality educational materials currently averages around 70-90 hours a week. And while the ads on YouTube bring in a lil' nugget of money here and there, it's just enough to pay the yearly hosting fee for BiteSizeVegan.com
Bite Size Vegan is currently a one-woman operation (that's me!) and with your support I can continue at my current break-neck pace and (eventually) expand the reach of BSV's message even further!
What Does It Mean To Be a "Patron"?
