Black Hole Wizard

Black Hole Wizard is a comic book series that explores the weirder recesses of science fiction and fantasy, the droning soundscapes of doom metal, and the new aesthetics of 21st Century occultism.

Together, Simon Berman and Eliza Gauger are Goat Swarm; a collaborative disorganization devoted to the consumption of doom, appreciation of the Void, and the creation of a soon-to-be ongoing comic book series, Black Hole Wizard

We've been working on Black Hole Wizard for over two years; scripting the first issues, drawing concept art, sketching, and illustrating the first few pages. With your help, we intend to bring our dubious intentions screaming into the world, covered with blood, and howling for souls in a cloud of pungent smoke.

Why do we need your help?
When you have a full time job like Simon, or are a full-time artist like Eliza, your schedule is seriously limited. While we've been scrimping desperately for free time to work on BHW for the past two years, projects like this can prevent artists from paying rent, unless they are funded. That's where Patreon—and a supportive army of patrons like you—comes in. With your help, we will be able to write and draw our outer space wizards, demons, and blood-fueled rocket ships without starving to death. We're also committed to producing a polished final product and that means paying graphic designers and an editor. They don't want to starve to death, either. We're going to churn out pages no matter how much we receive, but every dollar helps.

What do you get out of this?
Assured damnation and our eternal gratitude. Also, we promise our patrons early access to pages as they're finished, digital art with which you may profane your personal computing devices, live-streams of Eliza drawing the comic itself and probably crude fart jokes, access to Simon's scripts as they're published, and god knows what else we think up as we go.
