About

The purpose of this project is to document the history of the Black community in Holyoke, MA. The project is a combination of archival research, oral histories, photos and documents from the Holyoke community. As the project progresses, I will use this platform to blog about my experiences and to document the history of Holyoke, MA.
Goals
$37 of $500 per month
This goal is to purchase recorders, archival folders and boxes for storing and compiling documents and information found. As well as to cover the expense of travel and other necessities for the initial project.
