Hello listeners & friends,

Since October 2015, Lee and Josh have been talking longer than planned every Tuesday on the Blood & Mud Rugby podcast – the ‘other’ mildly popular podcast dedicated to the game we all love. We thank all of you who have joined us on this journey to create a community that loves the game, but isn't afraid to not like certain things about it at times – especially a certain England back-rower and the TMO.

Along the way we have created the inexplicable and interminable Cuthbert-Plisson Cup, made things like #FIIDIM and #SHITGOOD part of everyday discourse and, as well as taking a look at the latest action, given you such pop culture phenomena as How The Hell Did He Get A Cap?, You Dirty Get, Would You Rather?, #SeanHolleySongs and many others.

We love doing this podcast, and we love the rag-tag bag of misfits like you who lend us their ears every week, and so want to give you all the chance to be an even more special member of our little rebel rugby club. It's the best possible club, too: plenty of laughs, no training demands, the occasional dodgy song and most of all no wankers.

First up, we want to reassure you all that the regular weekly podcast will remain available free for everyone, complete with the usual advertising inserts, from wherever you choose to download your podcasts from.

For $2 per month (which works out as roughly £1.40), however, we’ll offer our wonderful supporters the chance to listen to that regular weekly pod without ads getting in the way of our chat. What’s more, you’ll also get more of our rugby chat than ever before – gaining exclusive access to regular bonus preview episodes around big games and tournaments.

In addition, if you find that you miss your weekly dose of rugby misanthropy during the off-season, supporters will also gain access to a series of special themed episodes throughout the summer, as well as the odd random bonus episode during the regular run. And because we know that these episodes will be for the people who really like us, we can really go off on even more random tangents than ever before - can you imagine?

The Blood & Mud podcast has always felt like a unique and special corner of the rugby village – become a supporter today and become part of our weird and wonderful family.

Once you've signed up, we will give you a private RSS feed URL that you will use to access the special content; you can add this to your favourite pod player, INCLUDING THE APPLE PODCASTS PLAYER.  This means you will receive our content pretty much in the usual way.

Additionally, Patreon has a mobile app for iOS and Android that you can use to download and stream our patron-exclusive content.
