Do you like board games? If the answer is yes, then I'd like to invite you to support a young game designer, as he creates prototypes and takes feedback on the different decisions and considerations that go into designing a truly enjoyable title.

And if you don't like board games, I dare you to help me out anyway, so we can see if I'll be able to change your mind! :)

Your support will allow great board games to be published as free print&play versions, and maybe even allow some publisher to take note and get interested in releasing them in commercial form!

I am a board game designer who's been doing this since an early age - my earliest surviving prototype is (at least) fifteen years old! Several of my games have been considered by board game publishers (the latest, Jarl, seen in the picture above, has recently won a prize in Polish publisher's Galakta's contest). I also have three years of experience in the video game industry, having designed and co-designed games such as Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden, Time Mysteries: The Final Enigma, and Deadly Puzzles: Toymaker. I am also the author of a 24-hour RPG called Captain Superguy Must Die! (available at RPG Geek, here), and I've written the SF-thriller choose-your-own-adventure MTU Kazan (available here).

I regularly cooperate with artists who create art for my prototypes and help me prepare the prototypes for printing. You can see their work on the picture above (the art for Jarl was created by two artists and a third prepared the entire thing for printing). One of my long-term goals is to get them on board as my collaborators, so by supporting me, you'll also have the chance to support a few other people!

LEAVING A MARK
Your support is extremely appreciated! To express my thanks, I'm giving you the option of becoming a part of the currently developed title. Depending on the game this might be being drawn onto one of the cards, becoming a character in the game, or contributing by designing your own card or optional rule. We'll work something out, so you can leave a permanent mark on the final game

Goals
$8 of $100 per design diary
If we reach this funding level, I'll add a monthly video in which I talk about my favourite board games, looking into why I enjoy them and why I think they're good. That might extend to talking about some not-so-favourite titles and analyzing why I don't like those. What's important is, that content is going to be Patron-exlusive for a week as usual, but you will not be charged for it - it's just some additional work on my part to say "Thank You" :)
