Welcome to Board Game Photos!

My name is Spencer and this photography project focuses on creating immersive images featuring tabletop and board game pieces and elements.

What's all this about then?

I'm here to make photos that wow and chew bubble gum ... and I'm all out of bubble gum! Practical special effects in movies are near and dear to my heart; as such, I desired the elements in each photo contained in this project to exist in the real world. All effects in the photos you see are created in-camera with minimal post-production clean-up work in Photoshop. Each photo takes, on average, about 4 to 6 hours to complete, which doesn’t even include the time for concept, planning, and development! The creation process is very soul-satisfying and sharing the final images with you is immensely gratifying.

What the heck is Patreon?

Patreon is like a tip-jar for content creators. As a patron, you pledge a certain amount per finished photo ($1, $2, or $5) which raises the bar for what is possible with this project, allowing me more time to create and expand the scope of these photos. I have some big ideas to share that I'm ecstatic for you to see; your patronage will allow those photos to happen.

Thanks very much for your consideration! I've included more information below; if you still have questions, please send me a message! Take a look around and enjoy your stay.

How long do I have to remain a patron?

You are free to cancel your pledge at any time. I appreciate every bit of help but completely understand if you need to lighten your load.
