About Me
Hey folks! I'm Brandon. I write comic books. (Never heard of me? Here's one of my comics for free.)A quick bio: I've written Disney Kingdoms: Seekers of the Weird for Marvel Comics, co-wrote Hellraiser: The Dark Watch (BOOM! Studios) with Clive Barker, and I've written for IDW Publishing and MonkeyBrain Comics (among others). But I'm best know for my original series Witch Doctor, a horror/medical drama from Image Comics/Skybound Entertainment.
Original comics are where my heart lives. I have heaps of project ideas. But I need your help to make them happen.
What ELSE is in it for you?
I don't just want support from my patrons: I want their input, too. So at all stages in the process, I'll be polling you folks about what you want to see from me. Want more horror-flavored cross-genre projects like Witch Doctor? Wish I'd hurry up and do Supernatural Geographic already? Want to see me try my hand at something different from my other work, like superheroes or kaiju stories? I want to know! Also, I want to know what kind of rewards you want as my patron! More original art? More prose stories? Something else, like a weekly column with tips on "sneaking into comics?" I want you to tell me!
What's in it for me?
Creating and launching new original comics is expensive and time-consuming. So 100% of money I make from patrons will go towards paying artists to make all-new comics. Most of the reason I haven't done more original series like Witch Doctor is because of the cost. I need you to help me get new projects off the ground — new projects YOU get to read!
