Hello and thank you for being here. I’m Brea Fisher, founder of Kwan Yin Kung Fu.

As an artist, my work unites the visual arts with the Chinese internal and martial arts, of which I have over 12 years of experience. I have dedicated my life to the disciplines of Qigong, Taiji, and Gongfu (Kung Fu), drawing on my focused study and knowledge of Daoist philosophy and lifestyle, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yang theory, and Five Element theory.

I carry the lineage of Eagle Claw Turning Style (Ying Zhao Fan Zi Men), teaching Gongfu and Taiji forms handed down to me by Gongfu Master Sing Chui. The Qigong forms I share are based off Eagle Claw forms, sometimes borrowed directly from a segment of a form, sometimes received, researched thoroughly, and practiced extensively prior to sharing them.

Within each movement exists a transmission of internal messages between the body (Jing), the mind (Qi), and the spirit (Shen). By offering space for the cultivation of this subtle dialogue, I facilitate a rekindling of the communication lines between oneself and the authentic essence within, deepening one’s connection to Self, to others, and to the planet.

Many have found me through the Everyday Gongfu Films, published on Instagram and Facebook, and shared faithfully, every single day, as part of an online documentation of a daily practice project currently over two years in the making. In these 30-60 second clips, as well as in my longer, more in-depth Lesson Films, I combine landscape photography with Qi-cultivating movement. I am a student of and advocate for the natural world; this is reflected in my films, which are set in serene, natural, and remote landscapes.

The main attraction here is the Qigong Lesson Film subscription series. You don't need to live in or travel to New Mexico to learn from me; you can practice with me here, from wherever you are in the world. By becoming a patron of Brea Fisher + Kwan Yin Kung Fu you can gain access to the entire archive of Qigong Lesson Films, your way to build a home practice by following focused, instructional movies set in landscapes of river, meadow, and mountain backdrops.

Suggested contribution is $10 a month; however, the series is a Pay-What-You-Like offering. It’s really important to me that all who wish to learn have access to the practice, so I encourage you to choose a membership tier that is right for you.

I offer you my art, existing as a labor of love, of course; and equally a labor of dedication and discipline, time and Qi, and the dollars it takes as the sole creator of every part of these offerings. That is why the Patreon platform is essential to the continuation of the work I give. With an overflowing spirit of gratitude and respect, I thank you for considering becoming a patron.

With a deep bow,
Brea
