A warm welcome to you, dear Patron!

Why are you making a valuable contribution to a more beautiful world by supporting my work?

Artists have to do their art anyway. Some artists proved this fierce law in impressive ways: Franz Marc did his sketches in dugouts during WW1 while bombs fell. Alexej Jawlensky could only held his brushes in both hands under great pain while doing his late faces of Christ.
Inspiration can be very convincing. One simply has no choice. Artists get their orders directly from life. Life uses them to bring the new into existence. Creative people of all kinds are in service. They are the voice of existence, they are the counterpart to ratio.
When ratio gets too dominant our minds are spinning their comprehensive web of pseudo-reality way too loud, the old voices of conditioning whisper sinister, we feel pocketed by automatism. On a collective level our mock democracies deliberately suppress creativity and intuition and the most precious of life gets litter polluted.
We need art and creativity now more than ever.
Art dances with the real thing. The real thing is what we all share: light, breath, hesitation, yet daring, etc. Radical acceptance of what is. Direct experience of life instead of mental interpretations of it. Sincere willingness to follow the quiet new, rather than mere survival in the old.
To carry the scepter of vulnerability in oneself. To look with ones own limitations - through golden glasses - directly into the face of impossibility.

Briant Rokyta is living with his family in Vienna, Austria. He maintains a studio there for various artistic expressions, such as sculpting, painting, drawing, writing, performaning and their combinations. He loves to be a service-orientated artist meaning to share the treasures of his artistic research with everybody who needs them. These gifts are not only artistic products but principles which are useful for professionals of any kind and also for everday life, such as: Follow joy, make mistakes, integration of what is, rather than wishful thinking, etc.
He shares those gifts in his work as an Art Therapist in a Psychosomatic Clinic, by giving lectures and doing exhibitions and performances.
