Body Acceptance: let me teach you self-compassion

We have all had negative thoughts or criticisms about our bodies. The all-famous statements that I do not even want to utter here because they are harmful to ourselves.

“Ugh, I’m so ___.”
“My [insert body part here] is [insert negative word here].”

Here’s what I’ve learned. The grass is always greener. Something we may see as a negative thing about our body, another may see as a positive thing. Chances are someone who doesn’t have part of your look, wishes they did.
