Hello, and thank you to everyone who's helping make the Brit Lit Blog possible.

Every weekday, I round up news and views from the world of British books and publishing -- including reviews, podcast episodes, and literary prizes. I'd love to continue doing this long term, and to add some regular posts, in particular book recommendations and more thorough information on books newly out in the UK.

A little about me: I'm a British writer who moved to Washington, DC, in 2012, ostensibly to study for an MFA but really because of a West Wing obsession (ahem, that's another story). I've written about books for Stylist, Bustle, and Washington Life, as well as being a regular contributor at the fabulous Book Riot. I'm passionate about championing British books beyond the UK.
