Thanks for visiting and supporting my Patreon page!

Born in Venezuela, I am an IndoLatinx mujerista working to create and agitate my way through the Latin diaspora. With over a decade of non-profit and community organizing experience, I now work independently—offering education, coaching, consulting, writing, and art––all intended to assist people in building an interlocking framework for justice.

I am not a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Educator. While I value the content incorporated into DEI trainings, I am an Interlocking Anti-racism, Anti-Oppression, and Decolonization Educator and I am focused on partnering with those interested on taking not just the first but the next (and the next and the next…) step in their work.

With me, conversations about implicit bias and microaggressions may be a starting place but they are never the focal or end point. I contract with colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, faith communities, businesses, and individuals that seek to build an accessible and sustainable movement for liberation that accounts for the need for both personal transformation and structural change.

This is the kind of change that means more than checking a box or meeting a legal requirement. It’s a cultural and systemic shift that means time, discomfort, sacrifice, and commitment and I’m ready to walk you through it.

I am the founder of En Conjunto—a collective providing support, community, resources, and collaborative opportunities to People of Color working independently at the intersection of justice and spirituality. I am also the Co-Creator of the Digital Dine-In Project – a virtual dining and learning experience bringing people together from around the world.

I am an independent practitioner but I partner as a co-coordinator with Liberation School South, serve on the board of the Festival Center in Washington, DC, and am affiliated with the Mystic Soul Project on a number of projects.

.My work (in all its forms) seeks to do the following:

  • Kick up the dust around conversations of faith and spirituality- broadening these conversations beyond what has traditionally been provided by White/straight/academic gatekeepers
  • Activate and cultivate a desire in others to examine their spiritual practice and its relationship to colonization, white supremacy, cisheteropatriarchy, and nationalism
  • Create art, space, resources, and relational opportunities for moving towards shared liberation and healing

I am trusting in my community to partner with me in this endeavor - freeing me to go when called and to act and speak with the integrity necessary to fulfill this vision.

If you're interested in supporting me in doing this work, I invite you to become a partner today.

Your partnership allows me to cover the financial gaps between assignments (giving my full attention to this calling and not having my time divided between this and other jobs). More importantly, it allows me to remain faithful to my commitment to make my work economically just and financially accessible. Because of you, I am able to regularly offer pro bono/low-cost services to those that can not afford my rates. For example, I regularly provide pro bono consulting to the executive directors of Brave Commons (an LGBTQ justice non-profit organization) and have provided deeply discounted conference planning services to events such as the Liberating Evangelicalism conference.

You can follow me on twitter at @brwneyedamzn and on Facebook.

In this together,

30 - reached! patrons
When I reach 30 patrons I will begin offering free consulting to my first pro-bono client (client already identified and waiting).

Note: The more patreon partners I have the greater capacity I have to offer consulting on a sliding scale/at no cost to clients that can not afford my hourly rate.
