Hello, friend! My name is Ian, and I run the YouTube channel 'brutalmoose', but there's a strong chance that you already knew that. On the off-chance that you don't, or perhaps you just want to read what I wrote about myself, let me explain my show to you.
My channel focuses on video games, usually (though not exclusively) older PC titles. The best way to get a feel for what I do would be to take a look at my channel over here! The content I focus on mostly are my Originals. Originals are fully scripted and edited videos covering a game that I've stumbled through. I aim to give you a good idea of my experience with the game, along with some humor and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Don't think of them as standard game reviews, though, think of it as taking a look at games through my eyes. A good example of this would be my Mario Teaches Typing video!
So, why Patreon? Well, part of it is because some of you asked for a way to donate to my show! YouTube is an increasingly crazy place, and earning money there is always growing more difficult. This is what I've chosen to do as a job for the time being, and every dollar counts! If you're unable or unwilling to donate, that's totally understandable, and my videos will remain free to watch on YouTube! Consider pledging here as a way to give me a "tip", if you like what I do.

I thought long and hard about it, and instead of overloading myself with tons of promises and extra work, I've chosen just a few things that I can carry out without taking away from the time I have to work on making videos.
