I started blogging daily in 2007. When I'm not blogging, of course, I'm working on writing young adult and middle grade fantasy. That is, when I'm not doing my day job, which is working at a library.

So I'm a busy man, but I'm doing what I love, so I can't complain. I started this Patreon account as a way to support the blog. (Writing a post each weekday takes time and attention, and sometimes that's hard to justify. The support I get on Patreon has shown me it's worth my while.)

While I'm at it, I've added ways for fans of my writing to get more of it. Check out the reward tiers and sign up for whatever strikes your fancy. And thank you for your support!

You have my heartfelt thanks and (I assume) the thanks of all my other readers, seeing as how your support makes the blog possible. You'll also get a free copy of Cavern of Babel (in Kindle format). In addition, you get the right to sponsor one blog post a month. That means you get to give me a blog prompt (topic or something to review) and I'll respond on the blog. There's a forum on the message boards to do this.
Woodchuck First Class
$2 or more per month 0 patrons
Congratulations, woodchuck-chucker. Yyou'll get to read two chapters a month of an unpublished book by yours truly. We'll start off with ICHABOD and move on from there. These chapters will be posted the first and third Friday every month.

In addition, all current First Class Woodchucks will get their names in the acknowledgements page of each book I publish. Your name, in print. (And to think your mother-in-law said you'd never amount to much!)

Elite Whistlepig
$3 or more per month 1 patron
In addition to getting all the perks of Woodchucks, Whistlepigs will get to read one chapter of one of my current works in progress each month. (Talk about exclusive!) This chapter will be posted the second Friday every month.
Goals
$9 of $10 per month
The blog is saved! I'll continue writing daily posts as long as I can keep up some continued interest. For now, I'm just looking small. Enough interest to show me it's worthwhile.
