It is our mission to be a website and network that is inclusive and representative of the multitude of experiences in pop culture. Our community started with our namesake podcast. Our passion for discussion and pop culture branched into a community of podcasts and 20+ contributors. 

Over two years our community has grown and has covered conventions throughout the United States. At But Why Tho? A Geek Community, we put our contributors first. This Patreon is to help raise money to maintain our website, get emails for our entire staff, and finally be able to pay our writers and hopefully fund some conventions down the road.

So, I Was Thinking is a biweekly podcast hosted by Kate and Matt of But Why Tho? The Podcast. Here, the two discuss topics that just got them thinking for 30 minutes. With topics that range from science, pop culture, and everything in between, this podcast is sure to get you thinking too. 

Bourbon & Burdens is a monthly podcast where the But Why Tho? Community staff drink and share - complain - about the burdens in lives. Can range from first world problems and rants to whatever we are comfortable talking about and sharing. We also listen to fan burdens and give - unqualified - advice to them. At the $10 level, you can submit your own burden for the crew to give you advice

Manga Trash is a mini-podcast where Kate and LaNeysha choose one trashy manga a piece and explain why it's a glorious mess. They'll be talking about smut and more - and probably a lot of vampire trash. The recordings of these episodes will be featured in live-streams available at the $10 level.
