PropellerIDE is a cross-platform editor for the Propeller. It aims to replace the aging Propeller Tool with an updated interface, enhanced editing, and many original new features.

After taking over the project in 2014, I have continued to develop the IDE alongside LameStation. Here are some of the things I've done:

  • PropBASIC language support
  • Dynamic project tree view
  • Fully automated cross-platform software releases
  • Completely rewritten fast serial terminal and loader API
  • Memory map widget
  • Improved syntax highlighting
  • And the list goes on...

Unfortunately, my available funding for the project has declined. In the meantime, the number of feature requests is increasing and I want to keep up with it. I'm currently looking for work, but I will have much less time to work on this once I take a job.

With this Patreon campaign, I hope to be able to spend less time at a job and more time developing PropellerIDE. There is much to do, between fixing bugs and simple tweaks, to more epic additions like built-in debugging tools, doc generation, mobile versions of the IDE, C support, and more. The level of support I receive here on Patreon will directly affect what I'm able to achieve and when.

I'll Add Your Feature First
Make me a feature request. If it's something that can be done, I'll put your feature at the front of the line and work on it first (within reason). You'll also get a Gold Supporter badge on the LameStation Forum. Please contact me first before pledging this level.

Note: multiple pledges are handled first-come, first-serve.
Goals
$9 of $600 per month
When this goal is met, I'll be able to spend one full day a week working on PropellerIDE. That means one day a week, it'll be all PropellerIDE, all the time.
