Darkly humorous and provocatively satirical, our performative mechatronic sculptures construct abstract narratives to reveal the complexities and absurdities of modern life. Our human/object hybrid forms are players in a surreal mechanical theatre that is equally strange, disturbing and beautiful.
In our work we use mechatronics, robotics, human anatomy reproduction, 3D printing, wood-work, metal-work, and reworked everyday objects to create anthropomorphic and autonomous sculptural works.
As an extension to our practice we opened a gallery space in 2018 in the small regional town of Linton, Victoria, as a platform for experimental artforms, performative installation and live art. We have also just started a festival, "Mecha" with aims to put experimental performance art in the limelight in regional Australia as well as having artists as monetary recipients of the success of the festival.
Every dollar helps us continue creating, even if it just helps pay the power the runs the machines. You'll notice our goals are based around inviting people into our world. If you support us at the top tiers, we'd love to meet you and get to know you too.
Get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
