EVERYONE IS MAKING TRAVEL VIDEOS THESE DAYS...

...and some of them are better than others.

What I've noticed with a bunch of these travel videos is that the creators take themselves way too seriously - well, for my liking anyway.

Don't get me wrong, there is 300% a place for the Sam Kolder's and the many creators like him in the world - I just want to do things differently. I want to break the image of perfection and the unattainable, I want to show that often travel fucking sucks. I want to show that to get to that amazing view overlooking Paris you may actually run into some trouble with a scammer or when you eat weed cake in Amsterdam, you may become so anxious that for two days you don't actually do anything in Amsterdam... well that happened to me anyway.

Again, I love watching amazing drone shots over some of the most incredible places in the world before zoom transitioning to a hyperlapse into a door of an old church and then we're quickly shown a book flicking through its pages shot with a macro lens; but I also want to showcase the world my way. I want humor, emotion and the ability to say "If I go again, I'd do 'x, y, z' better", to be the catalyst and vessel for my exploration. I want to not only showcase some amazing places in the world, I want to do it through laughter and authentic experiences. These might sound like vlogs and in part, they are BUT I'm slowly developing my own unique style of travel videos that AREN'T VLOGS and I'd love for you to help me.

Ages ago I actually made "merch", if you've watched my videos in 2017 you made have seen these shirts before. A few of my friends have a shirt or two.

You can see them here:

My buddy Jack is wearing one in the title sequence of this video that dates back to Feb, 26th in 2017. Like I said, I've been sitting on these for ages. I don't think I'll actually ever do anything properly with them...

So y'all can have a shirt for sure!

Thanks so much for supporting me, you champion!

Surely not? This is a 'ken decent amount of quiche you're willing to throw my way each month to push me towards my dreams. WTF WHY YOU DO THIS!?

If you live in or around Adelaide, SA, I'll take you out for beers/coffee/water/conversation, I'll thank the hell outta you for supporting my crazy dreams.

I'll also chuck you one of those shirts I mentioned in tier 2

I really don't know else to do to thank you. If more ideas come to mind, I'll let you know. You crazy, legend!
