I grew up with a love for comic books and comic strips. I've spent much of my life drawing comics or comic characters. Over the years, I've created a few original concepts for comics, but only recently has the internet afforded me the opportunity to share my ideas with the world. In 2013, I published my first web-comic, ROADFROGS. I am now about to begin a new web-comic, G.I.JEFF: A REALLY AVERAGE HERO, which is very loosely based on a guy I used to work with, Jeff Roberts. My plan is to begin publishing G.I.JEFF on a weekly basis beginning in late September 2014.

But this stuff doesn't happen in a vacuum. In order for me to justify the time I spend writing and drawing G.I.JEFF and other projects, as well as such things as supplies and promotional efforts, I need for my projects to generate a little income. That's where Patreon comes in. I don't expect my readers to pay my rent or utilities or buy my groceries (although I won't stop anyone who volunteers to do so). On the other hand, it would be nice to not dip into my family's grocery money to buy bristol board or pencils and pens, or to pay for web domains (for now, the comics are going on free wordpress.com sites). Just a few dollars a month from a few people would be a big lift.

Thank you for reading. And for your support.

A pen-and-ink drawing from G.I.JEFFROADFROGS or PIG-FIST & BACON. I wish I could send one of these to EVERYONE who donates, but I can't really afford to do it for less than a $10 gift.

An original inked page from G.I.JEFF: A REALLY AVERAGE HERO. I'm coloring and lettering the book on the computer, so this will be black & white art on either 11"x17" or 14"x17" bristol board.
