About Christian Ashliman

Welcome to my Patreon page!
My name is Christian and I love writing and psychology. So much, in fact, that I decided to create my own podcast that focuses on delivering research, theories, ideas, and trends on everything to do with the human experience. The result is the Bedletter Podcast.

The Bedletter Podcast is a social commentary production based around current psychological research, cultural trends, expression through writing, and much more. It offers an opportunity to sift through the varying ways we experience life, and how those ways bring as all a lot closer together than we might think. Additionally, it provides a platform to learn about new cutting-edge research in the psychology field in a way that is digestible and understandable.

Bedletter is available on all major podcast streaming platforms, such as: Spotify,iTunesYouTubeGoogle PodcastsBuzzsprout, and Stitcher.

Personal Website:

The hardest part of getting in the pool is the initial plunge--yet we toe our way around the waters edge, wading in slowly to prolong the complete discomfort and inevitable shock that will follow submersion. We live in this stretched out moment, focused so heavily on shirking away any feeling so strange as freezing water.

And then our bodies do this marvelous thing; they adapt. The water becomes familiar as we tread through its depth--it loses its scare and becomes something real.

The hardest part of anything is the first moment of it--yet we linger in this realm of difficulty, treading water tirelessly until we finally make the only choice: to sink or swim. To stake this moment as an outset, a pivotal beginning, or to condemn it merely to passing memory.

And then our minds do this impossible thing; they solve. The challenge of starting becomes a welcome dread--losing its towering image to something that becomes truth and passion

Reaching 10 Patrons will allow me to put more money back into the production of Bedletter. Specifically, I want to buy some better sound equipment and two high-quality mics; for myself and future guests on the show.
