Hello - my name's Catriona! I'm a 21 year old writer and recent graduate living in London. In May of this year I created the community website Life Continues After a space for survivors of sexual assault to come when they felt alone/abandoned. It's a space I created that I had desperately sought in my recovery, and I realised I could make it for myself and others in my position.  The jist of it is an open arts therapy space for survivors - anyone can submit pieces to either the 'words', 'sounds' or 'sights' section, as well as a 'friends & family' segment for those who support survivors. I am a survivor of multiple sexual assaults, including childhood sexual abuse - as a result, I have lived with depression, anxiety and PTSD since a teenager. I created LCA for myself, and for others who desperately needed a space where people understand. I personally funded the creation, designed the site, run it (creating content and editing and publishing submissions) and manage all the social media accounts.
I am also now  being helped by the BBC to set up a Podcast also called 'Life Continues After' The podcast is of the same nature, and I interview survivors authentically. The podcast features an interview with one survivor each week, but the interview is split into 2 segments: one more serious, focusing on the trials of recovery, and one more light, where we focus on similar content to the website - trading our favourite music and TV shows.
As a recent graduate, however, I am struggling to find a job to support myself and I am becoming worried as to how I will stay in London, where most of my support system is. I cannot return home due to ongoing family issues, which are a result of my CSA, and I would appreciate any help financially in return for my dedication to the website and the community which relies on it. I have been told by many site visitors how vitally helpful it has been in their recovery - I, now, am asking for some vital help to tide me over until I can secure employment. If anyone can donate anything so I can keep spending time on the website and the upcoming podcast alongside searching for jobs, I would be so grateful.

Coffee
$2 or more per month
Please help me buy the coffee that keeps me awake through depression naps to work on the site and edit the podcast!
Podcast Production
$7 or more per month
LCA podcast is in the process - I have recorded and edited episode 1, and I am securing interviews for future episode. I am aiming to release the series of 8 episodes in October of this year. A lot of time and effort, tea, biscuits and meeting time goes into producing these episodes, so any pennies would help!
Price of renewing website domain
$10 or more per month
Next May I will have to pay for the renewal of domain via Squarespace - I cannot even fathom not having LCA around for myself and for my site visitors - so $10 a month will ensure that I can afford the $120 dollars next May.
Goals
$2 of $20 per month
Be able to reach more followers - i.e. be able to do promotions on social media.
