About Lennart

Hello there,

I'm Lennart and I run CC0Textures.com and 3DAssets.one, two websites devoted to bringing you the best free textures and PBR materials possible.

CC0 Textures offers more than 1200 PBR materials under the Creative Commons CC0 license.
Every material can be downloaded instantly and without any registration or restriction. The materials come in resolutions of up to 8K (or even bigger in some special cases) and many of them even come with SBSAR files so that you can adjust their parameters using the Substance Player.
Your contributions on Patreon are invested in equipment for photoscanning such as better cameras and lenses or hard- and software for processing. (Photoscanning software usually uses dozens of Gigabytes of RAM). The ~60 TB (!) of traffic generated by CC0Textures.com need to be taken care of as well.

3DAssets.one is a side project to CC0 Textures.
It acts as a search engine connecting CC0 Textures, Texturehaven, CGBookcase and many more in one place.

Just search for whatever you need and get directed to the creator's website. While the final product looks pretty simple there is quite a lot happening in the background as the server needs to constantly check the individual creator's websites for new publications.

A new camera!

I currently shoot my textures on a Nikon D5100 from 2013. The camera itself is not too bad but it starts to show its age. Same goes for my lens which is actually a zoom lens - not really fit for texture creation. So I think it is time for a change...
