Chas Emerick is creating useful bits of Clojure[Script] and various online agitations

Hallo! If you're here, you almost surely know what I'm about:

  • Participating within the Clojure and ClojureScript communities since 2008; greatest hits include favourites like nREPL and friend (among (too many?) others), coauthoring Clojure Programming, running Mostly Lazy (badly), and otherwise trying to be a mensch.
  • Blogging too infrequently on public policy and software matters @ cemerick.com.
  • Being very online on Twitter @cemerick, bleating about PLT, distributed systems, future-computing, politics, policy, and ethics in "tech" (not in that order).
If something I have made has helped you in your work, studies, or hobby projects, or if I've intrigued or entertained you for a moment in one of my online guises, your material support / appreciation here would be…appreciated! Beware, I'll likely spend it on something absurdly frivolous, like a mortgage payment, college fund, etc.

Note: I am not currently offering rewards, or meaningful thresholds, etc. Like I said, being here, you probably know what I do. I'll keep doing it 😘

You see things I've worked on in your project.clj/pom.xml/package.json and similar, and nothing has broken too badly.
