Rafa Funded Monthly
$240 per month
At this point, you are fully funding Rafa Lee for each month, based off of what he charges per page and 8 pages being produced in a month. Actual total varies depending on how the month's days varies. Any amount up to this point will at least allow me to use personal funds on other items needed to run and promote my projects. This will allow me to focus my own funds on promotions and site maintenance and upkeep.
More Projects!
$500 per month
At this point, I can start funding more projects such as Digimon Knights or any number of other stories I can get produced to comics.
Starting the Transition.
$1,000 per month
Another arbitrary estimate, but at this point, I should be able to start seriously considering transitioning to doing this full-time. The actual amount it will take will vary based on how long it takes and any cost of living increases. At the least, it'll be a boost in paying bills for now and to transition off of relying on my day job to make this work.

Who am I?

My name is Christopher Galbreath. In high school, I started writing fan fiction under the penname Izumi Ryu and have been converting to original works over time. Now, I've been writing comic scripts for both Ninja Wolf Saizo and I've been writing my own creation Center Lane.

What is Center Lane?

In Center Lane, David Ramsey, a 16-year-old high school student, has started doing the one thing many teenagers only dream of, living away from their parents. He seeks emancipation after his parents dragged through a brutal divorce. Though, he still has not received full emancipation as of yet, he still lives with a roommate, a twenty-something young man by the name of Kyle Stiles, a long-time family friend. Now, David has to straddle the line of making his first steps as an adult and dealing with what high school continues to throw at him. On top of that, he still has to prove that he's responsible enough for full legal emancipation before his parents are truly off of his back.

This comic is updated twice per week every Sunday and Wednesday at Midnight US Central Time Zone.

What Am I Asking For?

While Center Lane is written and created by myself, the artwork is done by Rafa Lee, fully funded by myself. Any amount at first will be used for funding Rafa for his continued work on Center Lane as well as any continued site maintenance and promotion of the comic. Due to Rafa's personal workload, I am unable to increase the release frequency beyond twice a week, but I could start producing more work.

After that, the funds will go into work on additional projects. I'm currently sitting on scripts for additional stories to be produced. One of which I want to get produced is one tentatively titled "Digimon Knights," focusing on a group of tamers that ended up as split reincarnations of some of Digimon from the elite/legendary groups (i.e. Royal Knights, Demon Lords, etc.) after war among the groups, including a civil war among the Royal Knights, destroyed much of their ranks. This is one of many stories I've been developing and working with and would love to be able to produce them.

Finally, every creator's dream would be to live off of their creations. If I earned enough to be able to support myself without a day job, I could focus more on creating and promoting my works. Determining if I'm worth that is being left up to you.
