Hi! My name is Jason, and I make a webcomic (Chainmail Bikini) about the kind of stories I like the most: High adventure in a world of swords and sorcery! I am heavily inspired by things like Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, Conan and all the amazing artists and authors who have helped us peer into a myriad of fantasy realms over the ages.

Patreon is a crowdfunding site that allows artists and other creators to receive the patronage of enthusiasts like you, in the form of monetary pledges. In short, your pledges contribute directly to your favorite creator and his or her creations! Patreon isn't a charity, it's about giving your favorite artists a reward for a job well done.

It's my hope that a few of you, who happen to like my comic, might see fit to show your appreciation by pledging a little money to my cause. Think of it like a tip for a service provided, not absolutely required, but very encouraging to receive. My webcomic will always be free for all, that's the service I provide: a little entertainment when I post a new page.

So what do you need to do?
All -you- have to do is click on that button above that says 'Become a Patron' and select a pledge level you feel appropriate. You can pay via paypal or a credit card, and you can set a monthly limit so you don't have to worry about paying more than you'd like to. You will only pay when I post a new comic page (2 to 3 times a month), and your payment will automatically happen at the end of the month. It's easy and hassle free.

In addition to my utmost gratitude for becoming a patron of my art, you will also receive tokens of my appreciation in the form of access to Chainmail Bikini content only available here on Patreon, such as sketches, concept art, .pdf files for print, line art for those who like to color, and early viewing of new pages. I'm new to this Patreon thing, so I don't have much available yet. I apologize for that, but I am working on it, please bear with me!

What do I plan to do with your pledges?
Build and grow my site and comic, maybe get my own DNS and web hosting. Buy supplies, like pens, markers, non-photo blue pencils, and inks. Maybe even save up for a copy of Photoshop, or a Wacom Cintiq ( I can dream big, can't I?)!

Many artists dream of being able to support themselves with their passions, but unfortunately, it's just not in the cards for most of us. If I could manage to some day supplement my income even a little through my art, I would be overjoyed!

Thank you if you managed to read this wall of text, you are a trooper!

tl;dr – I would greatly appreciate your patronage!

You will also be able to see any Patreon only stuff I post here. I'm just starting my patreon right now, so I don't have a lot to offer yet.
Items I plan to offer in the future: sketches, concept art, .pdf files for print, line art for those who like to color, early viewing of new pages, and commissioned artwork.
