About Chani Petro

I'm a writer of modern folktales and fables. Over the last five years, I've turned these short stories into graphic fables with the help of talented illustrators from all over the world. Since I write new stories faster than my artists can illustrate them, I've turned to Patreon as a way to get these magical stories into your hands much sooner!

My stories are diverse but each one has a magical, fantasy element to it. I often used archetypes, symbolism, and fairytale traditions to craft my short stories. 

If you're a fan of Hayao Miyazaki, Neil Gaimen, or Christian Anderson, you'll find common ground in the tales I write.
