About
Creature creator, illustrator and indie game maker. I mostly work in pencils, watercolors and ink, but I also love sculpting (both traditional and digital). I drink more pumpkin tea then you would think humanly possible. At least it means I make a ton of my own tea ink >.> In that rare thing called 'free time' I enjoy hiking and adventuring with my dog, Zena, and my partner in crime, Ernesto.

Hello everyone! My name is Audre Schutte (aka 'Charamath'). I am a creature creator, moonlighting as a watercolor illustrator, moonlighting as an indie game maker. So what am I doing here on Patreon? Trying to fund my plans for global domination, of course! With your help I will create an army of trained hamsters whose only goal is to adorable everyone into peaceful submission! Just kidding >.>

In all seriousness I am here because Patreon creates the opportunity to directly connect me with fans and supporters. And in return I'll be posting things here I don't offer anywhere else- like step by steps of my paintings, high-res monthly digital sketch books, sneak peeks for some of the indie games I'm helping to create and hopefully much, much more. With just a little love, I'll be able to expand and improve upon my work in ways that will also benefit my patrons.

As this Patreon gets more support I plan on adding videos, physical sketch books, buttons, coupon codes for my shop, and exclusive prints. Most of these items will be automatically added into the reward tiers. So the better this goes, the more you get! I also hope to get to the point that I can add me! No, I cannot mail myself to you (that would be a little disturbing), but I do hope to get the funds to finally start attending conventions where I can meet everyone face to face.
And those are just my 'small time' goals. I'd really love to expand into a much broader range. One of my biggest goals is to make art books of my illustrations and creature concepts. I also hope to include my Patrons in our indie game process through things like exclusive beta access, special promo codes, or even the creation of in-game characters suggested by you.

With enough help, I can even get back into sculpting creatures. I primarily use watercolors and inks now, but I started out originally as a sculptor ('Bob' below is a sculpey sculpture of mine). I only set it aside because I couldn't afford to keep it up. If I can get back into sculpting, I can begin to offer digital models, sculpting process videos/tutorials or even 3D printed sculpts.

But most of all I think I am especially looking forward to hearing from you guys! Feel free to ask me questions! I'm here in all my highly caffeinated glory to talk to you! While I have a wide range of things I'd like to share with you, I am always open to reasonable suggestions for things you'd like to see offered.
