In 2013, when neither the government nor the mainstream media provided consistent, reliable reporting of enrollment data for the Affordable Care Act, I launched  ACASignups.net as a hobby, using crowdsourcing to track enrollment data in real time.

My work soon caught the attention of major media outlets, and has been cited and used as a resource ever since by media outlets spanning the ideological spectrum including the Washington Post, Forbes, Bloomberg News, Vox.com, MSNBC, the New Republic, USA Today, the CATO Institute, National Review Online and The New York Times among others, as well as prominent medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet.

I've since expanded into pretty much every other area of U.S. healthcare policy analysis, including Medicaid expansion, the off-exchange individual market, NY & MN's Basic Health Plan programs, annual premium rate changes, the pros and cons of transitioning towards a form of single payer healthcare and much more.

Over the past two years, I've also become a healthcare expansion advocate, working to protect the ACA from efforts by the Trump Administration and Congressional Republicans to undermine and sabotage both the law and other consumer and patient protections

For a long time I was relying exclusively on banner ads and one-time donations via PayPal or GoFundMe to tide me over (for which I'm eternally grateful, and both are still options), but I've decided that it's time to formalize things. If you're interested in wonky healthcare data analysis with a touch of snark, your support is greatly appreciated.

You'll receive the weekly newsletter, plus you'll receive a login to the main website which removes the banner ads!
Gold Support ($25/mo)

Newsletter, monthly livefeeds, plus...I dunno, how about a once-per-year conference call w/donors at this level about healthcare policy, my projections for the year ahead and so on?
Platinum Support ($50/mo)
$50 or more per month
Everything above, plus someone suggested I throw this in here just in case there's a few people who simply have too much cash on hand... :)
Goals
34% complete
This is the target I'm hoping to hit in order for ACASignups.net to continue to be self-sustaining on a long-term basis.
