‣Hello! My name is Angelica Maria Lopez [charmwitch] and I'm a 2D Artist and creator of Solstoria! I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but I moved to the United States eight years ago to find more opportunities and experience. I seem to have found my own niche in the world of art, games, and comics! As a 2D Artist, I've worked on titles such as Adventure Time: Hey Ice King Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! (3DS,DS), Amazing Spider-Man (Leap Frog), Shovel Knight (PS4, XB1 editions), and many more!

I've enjoyed working in video games for the past four years now, but it's time I've moved on and worked on my own projects as well as make an attempt to become super independent with my art!

‣Solstoria is a fantasy story about a young girl who wishes to become a knight and travel the world, learning about it as she tries to figure out the mystery behind her missing brother. Along the way, she meets a dancing princess and a charming witch who'll hopefully aid her on her adventures. Some segments of the story are told through her brother's eyes and hopefully, you'll come to enjoy hearing the story from both of them!

‣Working in the Gaming Industry has been a wonderful experience, but also one that has been short-lived due to the fluctuating need for artists. I've bounced around from place to place and have found it difficult to maintain stable work, so I've become a freelancer in the meanwhile. I still quite enjoy what I do and I plan to keep doing it, but I would like to be able to pay rent and focus my drawings to improve my webcomic, freelancing, and also to just continue to make art for everyone to enjoy. Art is a personal passion, one I hope to continue to share, but it has been pretty difficult lately.

I really love video games! I love working on them and I love their influence on my life. I want to share these feelings with all of you and continue to help make games and art that can one day inspire and help others in their time of need. I have grown up reading books and playing video games of stories I've enjoyed and hope to continue to pass these feelings of passion onto others. I want to be visible, not only as an artist, but also as a young woman in order to help others achieve their dreams. That's where you come in if you want to help!
