Every good painting tells a story and every good movie is worth talking about! A great film becomes greater when we share them with others. Our perspectives on a film are enhanced by the perspectives of others.

I made this page to share my love of film and my perspective on films with others. If you like in-depth film essays and film reviews that are thorough, well-researched, and, most of all, ENTERTAINING then this is your page. And if you like film essays on diverse film genres this is also your page! Here's a sample of movie reviews and essays you will find here:
  • Metropolis (1927)
  • Alita: The Battle Angel (2019
  • The Godfather's I and II (1972, 1974)
  • Le Cercle Rouge (1970)
  • Giant (1956)
  • Scenes From A Marriage (1974)
  • The Dark Knight (2008)
  • 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
  • The Red Shoes (1948)
  • Vertigo (1958)
  • The Ice Storm (1997)
  • The Matrix (1999)
  • Salo (1976)
In addition to these types of films, will also cover some horror films and anime that I feel are exceptional such as The Shining, The Exorcist, and Ghost In The Shell. Each video covers the following:
  • A synopsis of the film
  • Key themes of the film
  • Production notes from the film
  • Related films
  • My personal thoughts on the film
So, if you are searching for film reviews and essays that cover films that you like--thoroughly--look no further. I would like to be as valuable a film resource as my all-time favorite film reviewer, Roger Ebert, was a film resource I turned to, religiously, Thursday evenings throughout the 80s and 90s. Also, a small donation of a dollar or two would be greatly appreciated in helping me produce these videos of the highest quality. Thanks and God bless!
