if you are curious about my work and would like to have a direct hand in making it happen, I would be honored to accept a pay-what-you-can donation, starting at $3/month. as a way to express my gratitude, you'll be included in my monthly email newsletter, where I'll include...
  • updates on any and all current and upcoming projects, collaborations, irons in the fire. this includes but is not limited to my work as one of the two Artistic Directors of Red Theater in Chicago, IL. I'm also a freelance director and producer, with particular fondness for weird plays, clever projection and sound design, smart use of form, and intersectional themes.
  • invites & early access to tickets to whatever I'm working on
  • snapshots & ticket stubs from my current trains of thought, musings, whatever has fired me up this month
  • reflections on/recommendations for whatever I'm reading, watching, listening to, and seeing live these days
I'll show up in your inbox once or twice a month with a smattering of updates. You are welcome & encouraged to respond with any thoughts, questions, updates of your own! I would love to be in conversation with anyone invested enough in my work to donate.

About Clare Brennan

My greatest passion is nurturing my artistic network. They are my favorite people to talk to, they are whose work I am most invested in. I want my conversation with them to be rich, nuanced, and easy to enter into. If I can use my effective operational skills, scope of vision, and immense love for the Chicago theater community to facilitate and elevate its ability to communicate with one another, share resources, meet one another, ensure that our artists are connecting regularly with opportunities to get back to this crucial work. I want money in artists’ pockets, I want butts in seats, I am starving for active and exciting conversation around the thrilling variety of stage productions happening in this city that has become my home.
