My name is Jean-Luc Aufranc, and I manage CNX Software tech blog about embedded systems which ranges from developer boards to industrial solutions.

I mostly write news about new devices and software, but around once a week, I also publish a review or a tutorial for Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, TV boxes, mini PCs, and other hardware or software solutions.

CNX Software already gets income from ads, but more and more visitors rely on ad blockers, and ad rates have come down too, so overall income has come down. Some websites try to compensate with video ads, or interstitial ads (i.e. full screen ads), but It's not something I'm comfortable with.

By making a small monthly donation, you'll help keep CNX Software lights on, and carry on getting - hopefully relevant - news daily. If you select the higher $5 tier, you'll also be able to influence the content of the site, for example by suggesting products for review or testing. If the request is reasonable, I'll do my best to find ways to procure the device, test it, and report my finding on the site.

5x the number of thanks, and I'll certainly take into account your input with regards to what device or software I may test or review in the future.
