Coins and Scrolls is creating RPG Content

Hello! I'm Skerples. I run the Coins and Scrolls blog and put out all sorts of weird and wonderful RPG content like unique spell lists to book reviews to dungeons. I write a little bit of sci-fi content, a fair bit of medieval content, and lots and lots of useful tables.

I'm still going to create and release as much free content as possible. This patreon will help:
  1. Fund illustrations, editing, and layout for new books.
  2. Encourage weird side projects and time-consuming things I wouldn't otherwise have the resources to pursue, such as (potentially) a commented readthrough of the Book of Enoch, folding one-page dungeons, etc.
  3. Collect all the people interested in playtesting and draft documents into one place so I don't have to track them all down later.
From time to time I'll also ask you, the backers, if you've got ideas for future projects, blog post topics, etc. I won't promise I'll follow through but I promise I'll ask. I may also run Patron-exclusive collaborations that will eventually get released into the wild.

I typically release between 2 and 20 blog posts per month, averaging 12 posts per month in 2017 and 2018.

  • If you back at this level for six months or more, I will put your face (or your pet's face or something) in a piece of art in the next book.
  • All the other backers will be seriously impressed.
  • An imaginary crown made of cutlery, wood, and string. Ooooh, don't you look fancy? Yes you do.
Goals
$82 of $100 per month
If we reach $100 per month, I'll organize a Massive Community Collaborative Hexcrawl Map. All backers can participate but different tiers will have different levels of impact. The final hexcrawl will be bundled up, mashed into a hasty PDF, and put up for anyone to use and download.
