I am the editor and operator of The Comics Reporter, an award-winning comics industry news site in operation since 2004. We are focused on news about comics in all of its form, but only comics -- not the genres that the media shares with film, TV, games and toys.

I am a twenty-one year veteran of writing and editing comics industry news, starting in 1994 when I became managing editor of The Comics Journal. I was briefly a comics maker, with Dan Wright on the King Features Syndicate comic strip Wildwood (1999-2002). I co-wrote with Jordan Raphael the biography Stan Lee And The Rise And Fall Of The American Comic Book (2003).
