Who are you?
The Community Curator is the superhero name for Ashton Rodenhiser. Her goal is to help develop community through the arts.

Come again?
It's the crowd funding idea - we can all support without breaking the bank! Instead of Kickstarter where funds are collected for one giant project, funds are collected on ongoing to support many projects.
This page will be releasing material on an on-going basis showcasing  a variety of art forms, but a video will be released that will tell the story. Likely the video will be a snippet or a promo of things to come that you will see in the community within the near future (but only if people like you support it!) Community groups, people with a shared vision and individuals can apply to be supported the The Community Curator. A portion of the pledges will go towards this group to create art in Lunenburg County.
Example: A local budding artist wants to create a mural to go up in town - we help 'curate' the idea, work with you through some details and create a video telling the community about your plan. Video is uploaded and all our 'patrons' (that's you!) automatically donate the amount they decide and then a good portion of that funding goes to you to support your art!

What do you want from me anyways?

Ok. See that little button at the top left hand corner? Pledge your amount you will donate every time we release content. Type in your credit card info - then presto - you can easily support community projects without having to take time out of your busy schedule.  You can choose a maximum amount so you don't go over your monthly budget. We will be likely posting content 1 - 2 times a month.

Hey I want some money!
Ok ok, slow down. In order to get support for your project you will take part in creating the content!  There is a list of guidelines of course and if you are interested in hearing more in participating to  receiving funding please contact us at: [email protected]
