Confronting Normal is a community for those confronting what the church and culture tells them is normal.

By exploring questions and conversations with inspiring and thought-provoking people who are confronting the norms of church and culture, this community seeks to offer a collection of stories, resources and insights that inspire people to stay curious, live intentionally and confront their norms—whatever they may be and however they may look.

  • Is there more to faith than what we’re currently experiencing?
  • Do we really need all this stuff? All this busy? All these activities?
  • Is it possible to reconcile the way culture pressures us to live with the way Jesus compels us to live?
  • What does it mean to BE the church?
  • How can we love radically? And can the little bit we do really transform our world?
  • What is normal anyway?
