Being an artist is possibly the most dangerous thing you can do. It is also the thing most worth doing.

Hello, names Brandon Scott and I'm--for lack of a better term--a freelance writer. I've worked with different clients and websites, and I love the work I do, but I am also a blogger.

Three years ago, I started a blog as a way to voice my opinions without the constraints of assignments or specific tasks that is associated with my normal job. And it has been quite the ride. I've met some amazing people, and been involved with incredible projects.

So here's the part that concerns you dear reader: I don't know if I can keep it up.

Writing my blog is, well, time-consuming. I write and edit two articles a week and still have to find time to work on my other projects. It's also eating up my money as well. Not only with the time I use on it instead of something else, but also in the cost it takes to maintain the custom domain.

I'm not asking for much, not really. Just enough that I can continue to create stories, that I can continue to review things. Just enough that I can justify creating my own art financially.

I really wish I did not need to bring money into this, but that's the world we live in. Maybe one day we can have a world were the artist can just create...but I doubt it.

So, consider becoming a patron. I'm going to try to create regardless, but I would really appreciate it if you could help.
