If we're going to match the production quality of our previous episodes, there's a substantial amount of infrastructure we need to upgrade.  Once we hit $1,000 per episode, we can afford to guarantee studio upgrades at both our Austin and Los Angeles locations, and can cover labor costs for distribution.

$1,000 per episode is kind of a magic number for us: enough to ensure Cordkillers gets the time and attention it deserves, with enough wiggle room to keep investing in the growth of the show.
