How does Patreon work / what do I get out of it?
My YouTube channel is free... How can I possibly pay my bills? ... well...By becoming my “Patreon” you can pledge $1 (or any amount you choose) for as long as you want to, as sort of a "tip" for me composing and releasing original music. In return, you are providing much needed funding for me to get the studio time and musicians to make it all a reality. Your subscription / pledge can be edited or cancelled at any time.
Where do all the contributions go?
Music can be an expensive business - even in this day and age where it is arguably cheaper than ever to produce great results. Here are a few things that your contribution will help with...- My own salary – I am a freelance musician after all and I do need to pay the bills. My income relies 100% on musical endeavours so your support is REALLY helpful!
- Maintenance and upgrades to equipment – though much cheaper now than ever before, studio equipment is still expensive. Violin maintenance is also a big budget item, so please help me keep everything in good working order :)
- Musicians' Wages – I want to work with as many talented musicians as possible and I'd like to be able to give them a decent wage for their hard practice work.
