Cornered Rat Software is creating WWII Online

patrons

Cornered Rat Software is the developer of World War II Online, the very first MMOFPS ever created. Patreon is opening us up to a new opportunity to get funding exclusively for the team at CRS which is comprised mostly of volunteers, so that we may be able to gain access to more of their time to increase development of WWII Online overall.

CRS came to Patreon because of a recent fire side chat that we had, where over 100 players asked us to create an initiative that would allow players to directly impact and invest on a recurring basis into improved speed of development / delivery for the game.

As we go forward we'll maintain a dialogue about what goals are being worked on, and we'll even go a little further to say "here's the top three options we could apply this asset towards, help us decide which one to go for first!"

Monthly specific reports designed specifically for you will be created and submitted here securely as part of the "paid content." This information will go public shortly after you hear about it, but you'll be the first to see how your patronage is directly boosting the development speed of the game.

Subscriptions for the game currently go towards maintaining the status quo (operational costs, servers, server housing and more). This is vital to maintain. The purpose of this campaign is to generate a secondary (consistent source) of capital that can push the status quo forward.

By becoming a Patron for CRS on Patreon, you'll be entering into a monthly recurring agreement, much like our subscriptions we currently offer on our main site. A key difference our Patreon offers is that these funds go directly into people resources, our number one issue with being able to deliver on more for you.

We are working on some more options of perk offers but we've placed a few options up to let you get started right away on working towards our first goal: securing more technical time

As our community based goals are met (obtaining a certain number of patrons) we'll add more goals to further the effort. Any changes to this campaign in terms of goals will be sent to you directly for review.

Thank you for your consideration to join our Patreon campaign and helping to push Cornered Rat Software forward to break down the financial barriers that are holding further progression.
