About Crazy Woke Asians
Crazy Woke Asians is a stand up comedy show featuring the funniest Asian American comedians in Southern California! We had SOLD OUT every show at the Comedy Store, Ice House Comedy Club, The Three Clubs, Santa Monica Playhouse since May 2018. A SOLD OUT TOUR IN SEATTLE at Laughs Comedy Club, Unexpected Productions, Comedy on Broadway. The show has been featured in The Seattle Times, San Diego Union Tribune, Broadway World, ASAM News, Asian Journal, Mochi Magazine, World Journal, Sing Tao News, The Philippine News and King 5 New Day Northwest.
We produced the FIRST EVER ALL ASIAN SOLO PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL (CWASPF) at the Santa Monica Playhouse in 2019, partnering with NBC the festival showcased over 18 Asian Comedians. The 2nd Annual CWASPF will be held on May 27-30, 2021 at the Santa Monica Playhouse featuring over 65 Asian comedians on 3 stages, a FREE YOUTH STAND UP COMEDY CAMP, industry panels and improvisation workshops during the festival.
During the quarantine we produced CWA Virtual Comedy Shows, CWA Asian Heritage Month 3 Days Virtual Comedy Festival featuring over 90 comedians benefiting Feeding America, and CWA For Black Lives Comedy Show benefiting Color of Change.
