NOW IT'S TIME FOR A MINI INTRODUCTION.
Hello! My name is Omega Jones. I'm a 27 year old artist & performer who is just striving to be a light in a community of love & peace. While that might sound a bit on the overdramatic side, it's all true. Too often do we deal with doubt & negativity and the world has enough of that already. Why would I want to be one of the million whose goal is to create hatred & discord? It's literally not worth it. I'm willing to plant one of many seeds longing to sprout an age of true community & love.
WHAT DO I DO?
As stated above, I am an artist & a performer. I have been singing literally since I first began to walk. Music has been in my blood for generations & it's something that will never leave my core. I studied vocal music education at Missouri State University because I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. I am striving to be a full time stage actor with an emphasis in musical theatre. I have been fortunate enough to be in a multitude of productions, including Jesus Christ Superstar as Jesus, Dreamgirls as Jimmy Early, Violet the Musical as Flick, and Ragtime as Coalhouse Walker Jr. I am an award winning actor in St. Louis, receiving accolades for my performances in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Evita, The Drowsy Chaperone, and also receiving the St. Louis Theatre Circle award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for Ragtime. The arts are an extremely big part of my life & it's why I've decided to make it my goal to do this full time.
OKAY, BUT D&D?
It was through theatre that I met my current D&D group, now officially playing for almost two years. I quickly fell in love with the game and it's become a huge part of my everyday life. Through this newfound love, I came across a little show we all know & love called Critical Role, like most of us did. Just watching those like Matt, Sam, Laura, Travis, and the rest of the gang doing something they love so much with passion sparked a light within me. There is so much fan art showing their appreciation of the show and D&D itself but my medium is not the pen or the brush. As I've said many times before, my voice is my weapon. I wanted to show my love the only way I knew I could. Utilizing an iPhone app, some green tea, and prayers to Sarenrae, I did a cute video & the rest is history.
SO. WHAT IS YOUR PLAN NOW?
I want to do this on a more consistent basis. I want to provide quality content & give back to those who have quickly come to support me & my brand of art. This is where you come in. Your support will allow me to do this on a much higher scale. Your support will do two things:
Your support & love mean so much to me and I would consider this all with your help. Thank you for the consideration and I cannot wait to make art with you all!
