Heya! My name is Mary Cagle, though sometimes I go by Cube Watermelon. I'm a comic artist and illustrator, and I currently also work as an English teacher in Japan!
My current projects include Kiwi Blitz, a weekly action-adventure comic about kids and robots, and Let's Speak English, a comic about my adventures teaching English in Japan!
I also have a regular art blog over at tumblr, where I put all my silly fanart and random ideas.
Obviously, working on all these along with my dayjob can be a challenge. I also pay the very talented Nargyle to pencil KB, which currently comes from my own money and some ad revenue.
Right now I make the majority of my artistic income from freelance work, but my greatest dream is to eventually move home and work on my own projects full time.
No matter what, I will always be drawing as much comics and art and I possibly can! But time is indeed money, and having a bit more of the latter would be a huge help with the former.
And thank you so much just for checking this out!
