Welcome! I'm Christa Wells — songwriter, poet, and community builder in Nashville. Over the past two decades, I’ve written songs for artists like Natalie Grant, Plumb, and Ellie Holcomb, but my deepest joy has come from creating community around work that invites connection, curiosity, and self-compassion. In 2017, in the midst of personal upheaval and creative transition, I launched this Patreon as a sanctuary — a place to explore new questions and share the journey with others. Since then, it’s grown into a vibrant, values-driven community. In this space I share raw and finished songs, poems, voice memos, journals, and live gatherings with the people who choose to walk more closely with my work. Why become a patron? Join me for a monthly 75-minute Find Your Voice practice. During each session I'll lead a brief meditation followed by creative prompts that will help you connect with your inner experience. A portion of the time will be spent in silence together as we each respond to the prompt in whatever form it's presented. This will be a calm space where you can connect with yourself and others through curiosity, creativity and compassion. There will be time in each session designated for sharing, though sharing is not required.

Initially meetings will take place via Zoom on the first Wednesday of each month, 7-8:15pm CST. If we have five or more members who are interested in a lunch hour meeting, we will add that in.

Membership in the CW Song Circle, a monthly online meeting where we share songs written in response to the given prompt, offer and receive feedback, and discuss aspects of the songwriting craft.
