I'm Daniel, and I make games!

For the past year, I've been writing tutorials about how to use Unity, primarily for writing shaders. I've covered tons of effects, bigand small, ranging from cel-shaded lighting to Super Mario Odyssey-style image effects; from deep dives into using specific Unity features that you might not know about, to a complete breakdown of a Portal-style portal effect. Now, I've branched out into making YouTube videos.



I've taken part in more game jams than I can count and have worked on countless tiny projects in my spare time, which you can find on itch.ioGoogle PlayLudum Dare, and Global Jame Jam accounts!

Each of my tutorials are hosted on danielilett.com and come with MIT-licensed code on GitHub!
