Hello and thank you for considering supporting the show!

Darknet Diaries is a podcast that explores true stories from the dark side of the Internet. Go behind the hack and hear stories from the "cyber" front lines. Whether you're just curious how hacks happen or are a seasoned Infosec pro, you'll learn something new in an entertaining format.

I make Darknet Diaries because I love a good story and am fascinated to hear what the fallout of a hack was years later. I couldn't find any other podcast that would cover Infosec in this way, so I made it myself. But boy is it a lot of work - at least 30 hours of work goes into each episode.

Right now the show is made mostly by just me, Jack. While I love making these episodes for you to listen to, it's exhausting. The two biggest things that will help me the most right now are getting more people to listen to the show and contributing to this Patreon. By contributing, not only will it enable me to keep making episodes, but you will get to call some shots. From time to time, I will ask you to vote to help make choices about the show.

Whatever you can do to help, I truly appreciate it! I wouldn't have come this far without you. Thank you so much for helping me get to this point.

Goals
$96 of $500 per month
At $500/mo the show becomes self funded. Aside from recurring expenses, there are significant costs for microphones, recording gear, editing software, travel expenses, and more. If this goal is met, it would mean the community pays for all of it and ensures I can keep making the show.
