Thanks for visiting my Patreon page. Supporters like you are why I do this, and why I'm able to.

Patreon is a website that enables fans to "pledge" a monthly amount of $ and in return, those fans get the satisfaction of helping to create content they enjoy, as well some some perks.

I've been working in computer hardware and software for well over 30 years and have learned a lot of lessons over that time. Now it's time to give back.

All of my work is with the goal of helping all of you get better at making things with tech: primarily electronics, microcontrollers (think Arduino, Feather, etc), retro-computing, and 3d printing.  Think of me like Ben Heck but with more hair and less accent.

You can find my content in various places including Youtube, HackSpace Magazine, and Adafruit's learning guide site.

I'm on Patreon because I am doing this full-time and, to be honest, it covers the most important day-to-day bills, but just barely. Most of the time.  So if you enjoy my articles, guides, and tutorials, consider throwing a few $$ my way each month. It all helps and it's all appreciated.

Tiers
Morning coffee
$5 or more per month
Get me awake and to my desk/bench.
A parts order
$20 or more per month
I can’t hack without parts.
Time to write
$50 or more per month
Once I'm awake, have built something with those parts, and printed anything needing to be printed, I need to take some quality time to write about it.
Tools, tools, tools.
$100 or more per month
More and better tools make the work smoother: from tech tools like a scope to fab tools like a CNC PCB mill, to content tools like better video equipment.
Corporate sponsor
$1,000 or more per month
You get special mention on videos and articles I write. If you have products that are of interest to makers, I will use and highlight them in projects I undertake. Other possibilities are having your logo in the background of a video.
