Dave Barrack is creating
a webcomic about superheroines
Trying to make a living doing something only I can do. Not that only I can make comics obviously, just... my comic.

Milestone Goals
Help me build a fighting force of extra-ordinary magnitude.
You will have our gratitude.
Streaming
I will do a monthly stream of whatever I'm drawing. This obviously has the potential to be very spoilerific but I can also stream the vote incentive, wallpaper or whatever I'm working on. Might even take requests if I haven't decided what to draw, or at least a few options to draw from.
Two comics a week
At $1,000 a month I should be able to live (very) lean off the comic... assuming there's no such thing as taxes or medical insurance anymore... So, yeah, but hey, got to start somewhere. Basically at this point I can concentrate on growing the comic instead of job hunting without starving to death in a ditch. At least not... right away.
Streaming
Wow we're actually closing in on this one. I think I'd like to start doing some live streaming of me drawing. While this has huge potential to be spoilery, and I'm not a fast artist at all, it could also make for a fun hangout and I could do some Q&A.
Making a living
A lean living, but a living none the less. I might even be able to afford medical insurance. :) Again I'll figure out some additional bonuses if we start getting close to this.
Part time colorist
This is a prior milestone that I'm revising to be much more realistic. I need to hire a part time colorist to free up time I'll need in order to get the kickstarter for the book ready and keep on track with side projects like vote incentives and wallpapers. I'll be doing this regardless of the Patreon campaign gets to, but when I hit this milestone I'll increase the page rate to something more reasonable.

My name's Dave Barrack and
I'm creating Grrl Power.
It's a slice of life comic about superheroines, focusing not so much on superhero battles (though that does happen), but on characters, humor, having fun with the genre tropes and sometimes I slip in a pop-culture reference here or there.
Currently the comic updates on Mondays (Edit: Mondays and Thursdays - Thank you supporters!) - being a full color comic page instead of a 4 panel strip means they take a lot of time to create, and while I have a full time job (or am hunting for one) I can only produce one a week. The ultimate goal of course is to do this full time from atop a solid gold palanquin while being waited on by a plethora of piñatas, I mean... tanned attendants, but one step at a time.
With enough support I could hire a colorist, do the comic full time, or even both, all of which would mean more comics. Good for me, good for the readers.
Here's some of the fun that's been
had so far, in no particular order:
