New Microphone
I'm currently make my videos by borrowing audio equipment when I can. Raising this amount would allow me to purchase a new microphone for making videos.
Paid part time
Since March 2014, I reduced the number of hours I was working in my job to have more time to focus on making new content and software for Dave Conservatoire. Getting to $140 dollars per video would allow me to replace the income I've lost.
Full time focus
Raising this amount would allow me to clear my schedule in order to focus on developing www.daveconservatoire.org full time. This would allow me to offer a much better experience for the site's 30,000 monthly students, who are all studying for free. I would use the funding to set up a dedicated office space, buy the equipment I need to make higher quality videos featuring live music performance.
Hire a developer part time
At the moment the software running at www.daveconservatoire.org is very simple. Future developments would allow students to track their progress, test their skills and share their musical creations. The ability to hire a developer part time to help with the more difficult elements of development would be hugely useful.

Hello! My name is Dave and I'm the founder of a non-profit website - www.daveconservatoire.org
The site's mission is to provide a world-class music education for free online.
So far, the site has delivered over 200,000 video lessons and over 500,000 interactive exercises to students in over 50 countries.
I'm using patreon.com to see if I can find a circle of patrons willing to offer financial assistance to take the development of the site to the next level. Patrons pledge an amount they are prepared to give each time I release a new music lesson.
I plan to release 10-15 lessons a month, which I hope will help you decide which level of donation is right for you.
