Ever since uploading my first video onto YouTube back in 2007 I've sought to be an inspiration to anyone who listened to my music. Being able to touch people's lives through my music has been an honor and I aspire to continue to do so for many years to come! It goes without saying that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for all of the support from people like you over the years, and for that I owe you my deepest gratitude!
So, What Is Patreon?
Patreon, in a nutshell, is kind of like a virtual tip jar for content creators. It's a crowd funding site (like Kickstarter) but for ongoing projects (unlike Kickstarter). Funders (or "patrons") are given rewards in exchange for their level of support (more on this below). Please note that through Patreon you're NOT paying to SEE my content, you're just provided a way to give a virtual tip (if you choose to do so) for the content. I think it's a genius idea and I'm very excited to be one of the content creators using Patreon's platform!
Where Your Money Goes
So each virtual tip will go towards one of several improvements to help deliver the best videos for you guys - whether it be a large improvement like a see-through grand piano (that would be hot!), or a smaller improvement like new piano mics, or maybe even some camera equipment to give you guys various angles when I play (although I have grown to love the stationary side shot... I don't know, we'll figure that one out). Hey, maybe I could even hire a full orchestra to play along with me in a concert hall (that would be really hot!!!). With your support, the sky's the limit!
If this all sounds good to you, and as long as you have the means to do so, please consider joining as one of my official patrons! Also note, I will most likely only release one to two patron supported videos per month. You can set your monthly max so you never go over your monthly budget (whether it be $1, $2, $5, $10, etc.). What currency do you accept? - Although this site lists everything in US dollars, you can pay with whatever currency you have! Ultimately it will all be automatically converted into US dollars so you don't have to sweat it!
How many music videos will you be releasing a month? - No more than two videos a month. Make sure to set a monthly maximum when you sign up so that you never have to worry about donating more than you can afford.
Can I stop donating if I can't afford it? - Absolutely! If you can't afford to donate in the future, or you need to donate less, that's perfectly fine! You can log in and change or cancel the account at any time!
